There are some vacancies for Library Professionals both at the Learning Resource Centre (Central Library) and other Libraries of Acharya Institutes, Bengaluru. Hence, you are requested to publish the details on the vacancies (as mentioned below)DETAILS ON THE VACANCIES
(1) POSITION: LIBRARIAN
Qualification: MLIS (Full-Time with First Class)
Experience: 3 to 5 years on – Managing a Library independently, Procurement procedures, Technical processing, Handling E-resources, such as, E-Books and E-Journals, etc.
Skills : ICT and Communication skills
Desirable: Working knowledge with any of Library application software and digital software
No of Positions: 2
(2) POSITION: ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN / LIBRARY ASSISTANT
For Assistant Librarian:
Qualification: MLIS (Full-Time with First or Second Class)
Experience: 1 to 2 years. Freshers will also be considered
Skills: ICT and Communication skills
Desirable: Working knowledge with any of Library application software and digital software in a reputed Library
For Library Assistant:
Qualification: BLIS / DLIS / Certificate / JOC course
Experience: 1 to 2 years. Freshers will also be considered
Skills: ICT and Communication skills
Desirable: Working knowledge in any Library
No of Positions: 4
Salary: No bar. Will be based on qualifications, subject knowledge, and experience.
