Submission of Papers
Original and unpublished papers on the conference themes are invited for presentation in the conference. Papers will be accepted only after the review by editorial review committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN.


Author Guidelines
The full paper in Word file (with an abstract not exceeding 200 words and at least 3 keywords) should be submitted as an e-mail attachment to sxcelibrary@gmail.com. Paper should not exceed 6 pages (line space: 1.5, font size: 12, font: Times New Roman, Reference: APA Style). For more details, visit the conference website. The authors of accepted papers have to pay the registration fee immediately after the receipt of communication of acceptance to include their papers in the proceedings.

Accommodation
Accommodation will be arranged in our hostels on additional payment. The room rent varies from Rs.150 to Rs.500 per day. Number of standard hotels and lodges are available in the city also and the room rent varies from Rs.400 to Rs.2500 per day.

Transport
Our college is located at the centre of the city. Number of city buses are available from the new bus stand, old bus stand and railway station. Trains are available from any part of Tamil Nadu and India including Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram, Bangalore, Mysore, and Mumbai etc. The nearest airport is located at Thoothukudi (55 kms), Madurai (150kms) and Thiruvananthapuram (150kms).

 About the City
Palayamkottai is located in Tirunelveli City Municipal Corporation. Palayamkottai and Tirunelveli are known as twin cities separated by Thamiraparani River. Palayamkottai is the Oxford of Southern India. Number of esteemed educational institutions are in and around the city.

Kandhimathiamman Temple
Kandhimathiamman Temple is the beautiful temple which is situated in Tirunelveli town. The Nellaiappar mandabam is a beautiful place to be visited. Kandhimathi and Nellaiappar Mandabam are artful in nature. It is an ancient temple on vast expanse of land. The speciality of the temple is that perumal and shiva reside in the temple. Tirunelveli special Halwa (Iruttukadai) shop is situated in front of the temple.

Krishnapuram Venkatachalapathy Temple (also called Krishnapuram Temple)
Krishnapuram, a village in Tirunelveli district in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu. It is located 10 km from Palayamkottai. Constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is a storehouse of Nayak architecture. The Vijayanagar and Nayak kings commissioned pillared halls and major shrines of the temple during the 16th century. The temple follows Thenkalai tradition of worship.


St. Antony’s Shrine
Uvari is famous for its St. Antony's shrine built 400 years before. A shrine dedicated to St. Antony.  Uvari is the only place in Tamil Nadu that has St. Antony's shrine adjacent to sea. According to ancient Tamil history, people were called Bharathars of the Neithal (ocean) land. Uvari's historical name was Obeer Pattanam which was ruled by the Pandiyan dynasty, before they were converted by Portuguese. The priests, acting as godfathers, gave surnames such as Fernando to all Roman Catholic Bharathars as they were converted by the Portuguese.

Courtalam Falls
Courtallam is a town panchayat situated at a mean elevation of 160 m (520 ft) on the Western Ghats in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, India. The numerous waterfalls and cascades along with the ubiquitous health resorts in the area have earned it the title “Spa of South India”. The falls carry a good amount of water only when there is rain on the hills. Season begins from June of every year till September. The South West Monsoon brings in the cold breeze with mild temperature. From October to December North East Monsoon sets over in Tamil Nadu and the climate is cold and the rains are very heavy sometimes.

Indian Statistical Institute - Delhi Centre Library is looking for fresh Graduate/Post-Graduates in Library & Information Science (BLIS/MLISc) degree holder to engage Library Trainees (Total: 2) purely on temporary basis for the period up to 31st March, 2017.

Remuneration: Rs. 8000/- per month for BLIS and Rs. 10,000/- per month for MLIS.
Period: Up to 31st March, 2017 only

Nature of work: Required to work in all sections of the Library. The candidates should be willing to work six days a week (Monday - Saturday) and in shifts.

Interview Date: 31st August, 2016, 10:30 AM at the Library, Indian Statistical Institute - Delhi Centre.

Candidates who have appeared for their final year examination and are expecting results need not appear for the Walk-in Interview. Only Candidates who have passed and all relevant certificates can attend the walk-in interview.
